(she/her)
Cheryl works with adults and couples who are navigating the effects of trauma, chronic stress, identity-related concerns, and relationship challenges. Many of the clients she supports come to therapy when recurring emotional patterns, disconnection, or relationship difficulties begin to impact their sense of stability or well-being.
Her work is grounded in a relational, trauma-informed approach that pays close attention to how early experiences, attachment patterns, and nervous system responses shape the way people relate to themselves and others. Rather than focusing on quick fixes, Cheryl views therapy as a collaborative and reflective process focused on building insight, emotional awareness, and more integrated ways of understanding one’s experiences.
Cheryl has a particular interest in working with neurodivergent adults and LGBTQ+ individuals, including those exploring gender, sexuality, or identity. She is committed to providing an affirming, flexible therapeutic space that honors different ways of thinking, processing, and communicating.
In sessions, Cheryl balances structure with openness and curiosity, adapting the work to each client’s needs and goals. Clients often describe her style as steady, thoughtful, and grounding. She welcomes both individuals and couples who are new to therapy as well as those returning after past experiences that may not have felt fully supportive.
